We have just sent an email to all of our presenters for #OTESSA20 to seek their confirmation of presentation pathway (proceed online – either synchronously or asynchronously, defer to next year, or withdraw). Similarly, those with proceedings can opt to do the same. Please check your email and let us know if you haven’t received one and are a presenter. For those opting to present either synchronously (video session at a date/time of your choosing during the month of June) or asynchronously (blog post with text and/or other media, such as recorded audio or video), we will follow up with presenter guidelines.
For our flexible conference pivot design, we will not require conference registration as we will draw from our sponsor dollars; however, we will require OTESSA membership dues to be renewed for anyone presenting or publishing a proceeding or paper in 2020. We are currently setting up our membership process independently of Congress and will follow up with further information once it becomes available. We hope to have it ready in the 2nd to 3rd week of May. Should you be experiencing financial difficulty at this time, please do let us know so that we can determine how best we can support you with paying for membership. Should you wish to donate to OTESSA or to help identify a sponsor at this time, please get in touch with us. Thank you to our current sponsors for supporting open registration for synchronous sessions and open access publishing of asynchronous presentations and proceedings/papers.
We did not set a deadline for presenters responses re: participation at this time, but if you can try to reply within a week, we would very much appreciate it. We look forward to hearing from all of our presenters and to the highlights that will make June something to look forward to!
