Lighting a Fire: OER Rebels with a Cause
If you would like to help frame and promote a national conversation about open educational resources (OER), look no further than this rebellious session. Related to the UNESCO Recommendation on OER of 2019 (agreed to by our Federal government) the facilitator and special unannounced guests would like to engage with interested folks across all provinces and territories, including and especially Indigenous folks to discuss what a cross-country manifesto/infrastructure/movement/platform/aggregator/funding pool/wish-list might look like. The scope of this movement might involve Indigenous institutes, colleges, universities, Cégeps, PreK-12 School boards, community educators, employment services, and more. Who knows what might be possible? If you’d like to share your voice, experiences, and ideas about promoting and sharing OER, this is the session for you!
